AWS Virtual Job Fairs

Designed and ran a series of virtual job fairs for AWS on the Brazen platform, giving employers custom virtual booths, live chat and video interviews, resume-database access, and full analytics, all delivered online for candidates anywhere. I built the employer and student playbooks, managed vendor onboarding, and drove attendance through targeted campaigns and personalized outreach.

01The Challenge

Virtual recruiting events often see low attendance and shallow engagement, candidates register but don't show, or drop off quickly. AWS needed a virtual format that felt as high-touch as an in-person fair and actually converted into interviews and hires.

02My Approach

• Stood up custom employer booths on Brazen with video, job postings, and branding for a real presence online.
• Enabled live chat, video interviews, and Q&A so candidates and recruiters could connect in real time.
• Built employer and student playbooks plus onboarding so every team knew exactly how to run their booth.
• Drove attendance with targeted social ads, email, and personalized outreach, and used post-event analytics to prove ROI.

03The Results

The program sourced 450+ prospects and turned virtual conversations into real outcomes, live interviews, shortlisted candidates, and 48 offers accepted, with strong satisfaction scores, proving a virtual fair can deliver in-person-level results at a fraction of the cost.
